Tonto has a custom sculpted head from Koehler Customs, created to resemble Jay Silverheels. The head has been cast in a liquid plastic compound and has been painted. Tonto's headband is removable. The headband, holster, belt, knife sheath, and lasso are sculpted from a flexible sculpting material, and both the holster and knife sheath can actually hold pistols and knives. The parfleche bag opens as well.

The metal cast rifle, knife and pistol are from Stevo's Toys. Make sure to check his site for more great custom items.

Scout is a customized Marx Buckskin horse. He comes with full set of reissued caramel tack set from Friends of Johnny.

BLACK FOX/MORNING CLOUD COMBO SET

                         Black Fox/Morning Cloud Combo                              

 Created by Rhonda Riley and Koehler Customs, this set includes a reproduction airbrushed black and white Storm Cloud (Morning Cloud), custom dyed and painted Indian (Black Fox), two manuals, and accessories for figure and horse.

Because this figure has been dyed and then painted, the color of the figure should remain very consistent and it should be able to stand up to some posing and movement without incurring damage to the paint job.

Total sets created will be ten. Five have already been sold.

     Pony Express Set 2!

The initial limited edition Pony Express set, created by Kevin Robinson and Koehler Customs, was sold out due to popular demand. The new limited edition set includes a customized Flame horse, a custom dyed figure, and customized accessories for both. The box is unique, as are the manuals for the figure and horse.

Custom Manuals

Ben Roberts, Pony Express rider. Figure is dyed, green shirt and black trousers.  Boots are painted brown. Clothing accessories are colored grey. Riding crop is an original custom sculpt from Koehler Customs, made by hand from pliable sculpting material.

I decided "Rocket", the horse, needed some custom sculpting to appear that he's in more of a hurry.

Some other unique items in the set include letters, which are replicas of actual Pony Express letters from the 1860's, two replica Pony Express posters, and a map of the Pony Express route.

Custom painted figure and horse.

Accessories are a mix of custom and vintage. The lasso and mask are both made from a flexible plastic material to be consistent with the Johnny West type accessories. The canteen is an exclusive item from Robin Bone Toys and Marx Files- FAF style, made from original Marx molds.

Lone Ranger and Silver combo includes the custom Lone Ranger (painted) figure with a custom mask, custom leather gun rig and metal guns from Stevo's Toys, and a mix of vintage and custom accessories. The horse is a custom painted Thunderbolt. The set also includes a set of sealed 2006 caramel colored tack, reproduced from original Marx molds, produced by the Friends of Johnny group, two custom manuals, and a beautiful custom box with a certificate of authenticity.
